CONCLUSIONS/SIGNIFICANCE: OT's holistic practice places cooking within a larger context that can help identify and overcome the barriers to participation. Critiquing representations of intellectual disability in occupation-based literature
CONCLUSION & SIGNIFICANCE: Occupation-based discourses have powerful influence within society, particularly within occupational therapy, regarding understandings of intellectual disability and how these shape occupational possibilities for persons labelled intellectually disabled. Mitigating the effects of climate change in children's outdoor play environments
CONCLUSIONS AND SIGNIFICANCE: The findings suggest that the strategies employed lean towards implementation of increased ecosystem services and natural elements.
