Clinical utility of the Danish version of the Self-Assessment of Modes Questionnaire (D-SAMQ)
CONCLUSIONS AND SIGNIFICANCE: The D-SAMQ is ready for use in occupational therapy practice, education, and research. D-SAMQ can be used to gain insight into own therapeutic style. This insight serves as a basis for facilitating therapeutic relationships with the clients during the process of enabling engagement in occupation.PMID:37354483 | DOI:10.1080/11038128.2023.2226371 (Source: Scandinavian Journal of Occupational Therapy)

Drawing on critical disability and universal design perspectives within occupational therapy
CONCLUSIONS: Incorporating CDS and UD perspectives in occupational therapy practice and research requires a change in mindset and ways of working. Occupational therapy knowledge needs to be expanded to scrutinise disabling hindrances hidden within social and structural spaces, and implemented in services. We recommend working with disability communities to raise awareness and combat disabling barriers at various level of society, as mandated by policy.PMID:37347800 | DOI:10.1080/11038128.2023.2225755 (Source: Scandinavian Journal of Occupational Therapy)

Psychometric evaluation of the Finnish version of the Worker Role interview (WRI-FI)
CONCLUSIONS: The findings from this first psychometric evaluation of the WRI-FI provided evidence of construct validity and support for measurement precision. The hierarchy among items corresponded with previous studies. The WRI-FI can offer occupational therapy practitioners a valid tool to evaluate psychosocial and environmental perspectives of persons' work ability.PMID:37318830 | DOI:10.1080/11038128.2023.2221999 (Source: Scandinavian Journal of Occupational Therapy)
