Analysis of qualification for post-exposure prophylaxis against rabies in children in Poland
CONCLUSION: Most children who are referred after being bitten by an animal require post-exposure prophylaxis. Children are usually bitten by tame dogs with which they are unfamiliar, mostly on the hand.
