The Effect of Antioxidant Astaxanthin on Intestinal Ischemia Reperfusion Damage in Rats
CONCLUSION: Astaxanthin, a potent antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory, significantly reduces ischemia and reperfusion injury, especially when used at a dose of 10 mg/kg.
