Pitfalls and strategies of Sonazoid enhanced ultrasonography in differentiating metastatic and benign hepatic lesions
CONCLUSIONS: Hyperechoic LMs especially deeply seated ones are usually not shown typical "black hole" sign in Kupffer phase. Quickly "wash-in and wash out" shows high accuracy in diagnosing malignant nodules. We highly recommend CEUS as a routing exam to detect and diagnose LMs.PMID:38043009 | DOI:10.3233/CH-231995 (Source: Clinical Hemorheology and Microcirculation)

Foreign body accompanied with thrombosis in the right internal jugular vein: A case report
Clin Hemorheol Microcirc. 2023 Nov 18. doi: 10.3233/CH-231988. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTA rare foreign body accompanied by thrombosis in the right internal jugular vein was accidentally observed. We collected the medical history of this special patient, analyzed the causes and characteristics of the foreign body and thrombosis formation, and subsequently observed the changes in thrombosis. Finally, we discussed the diagnostic value of ultrasound for such rare intravascular lesions.PMID:38007641 | DOI:10.3233/CH-231988 (Source: Clinical Hemorheology and Microcirculation)

The discriminatory diagnostic value of multimodal ultrasound combined with blood cell analysis for granulomatous lobular mastitis and invasive ductal carcinoma of the breast
CONCLUSION: Multifactorial analysis of multimodal ultrasound features and BCA had high clinical application value in the differential diagnosis of GLM and IDC.PMID:38007642 | DOI:10.3233/CH-231999 (Source: Clinical Hemorheology and Microcirculation)

Antibiotic therapy in reconstructive surgery of deep sternal wound infections
CONCLUSION: There is no evidence of benefit from antibiotic therapy over 14 days, whereas multidrug resistance increases with prolonged antibiotic use. In the absence of infectious agents or clinical signs of inflammation, surgical treatment without additional antibiotic treatment is effective.Linezolid is a suitable antibiotic in the treatment of gram-positive infections which are the most frequent in DSWI.PMID:38007643 | DOI:10.3233/CH-238121 (Source: Clinical Hemorheology and Microcirculation)
