Antineutrophil Cytoplasmic Autoantibody-Associated Vasculitis with Kidney Involvement in a Patient with AL Amyloidosis
Antineutrophil cytoplasmic autoantibody (ANCA) vasculitis has occasionally been associated with other systemic glomerulonephritis, such as anti-glomerular basement membrane disease. Here, we report the first clinical case of ANCA-associated crescentic glomerulonephritis with AL amyloidosis. An 81-years-old gentleman presented to the hospital with acute kidney injury (serum creatinine 4.7 mg/dL) on a background of chronic kidney disease and volume overload. Erythropoietin-Resistant Anemia Secondary to Zinc-Induced Hypocupremia in a Hemodialysis Patient
We present a case wherein an ESRD patient had been receiving excess zinc for several months and subsequently experienced EPO-resistant anemia. Our patient ’s GI work-up was negative, and increased doses of iron and EPO-stimulating agent were ineffective. She underwent a bone marrow biopsy and more serological testing. She was ultimately diagnosed with ZICD, and cessation of her zinc supplement and initiation of copper replacement proved effective in restoring EPO responsiveness. Patiromer in a Patient with Severe Hyperkalemia on Incremental Hemodialysis with 1 Session per Week: A Case Report and Literature Review
We present the case of a 76-year-old woman in iHD (1 HD/W) treated with patiromer for severe HK and describe her clinical characteristics and outcomes. In addition, we review the corresponding literature. From Hypokalemic Crisis to Sjogren ’s Syndrome: A Case Report and Literature Review
We reported the case of a 20-year-old African woman who was received for paralysis of 4 limbs secondary to hypokalemia. The diagnosis of renal tubular acidosis type 1 complicated by hypokalemia was retained. In the etiologic research of renal tubular acidosis type 1, primar y SS was retained. The patient received symptomatic treatment based on potassium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, hydration, and a low protein diet. Immunotactoid Glomerulopathy with Nontuberculous Mycobacterial Infection: A Novel Association

Statin-Associated Necrotizing Myopathy Leading to Acute Kidney Injury: A Case Report
We present a case of a female patient who was on chronic rosuvastatin therapy and developed necrotizing myopathy. The disease progressed to acute kidney and liver injury. We discontinued the drug, started supportive measures, and initiated renal replacement therapy with a high cutoff dialysis membrane once. Complement-Mediated Thrombotic Microangiopathy Associated with Lupus Nephritis Treated with Eculizumab: A Case Report

Renal Transplant Hydroureteronephrosis as a Manifestation of Rejection: An Under-Recognized Entity?
We describe two pediatric RT recipients who presented with late-onset HUN, 5 and 10 years after transplantation. Both had new-onset HUN which occurred at the time of rejection; HUN resolved in both patients after treatment of rejection. Renal function stabilized in both patients without the need for stent or nephrostomy tube placement. There was no obstruction or vesicoureteral reflux (VUR). Sequential Bone Scintigraphy and the Evolution of Warfarin-Mediated Calcific Uremic Arteriolopathy
We report a case illustrating a temporal relationship between long-term warfarin anticoagulation and development of CUA in a patient with pre-dialysis chronic kidney disease (CKD) who progressed to ESRD.
