Patients' and caregivers' knowledge and beliefs about mental illness in mainland China: A systematic review
AbstractThis review aimed to systematically investigate patients' and caregivers' knowledge and beliefs about mental illness in mainland China. A total of 48 eligible studies (N = 11  895) were retrieved from eight electronic databases. Prevalence statistics were computed for themes (eg, stress) under each construct relating to knowledge or belief about mental illness (eg, beliefs about causes). Anxiety, depression and marital satisfaction in women with hyperemesis gravidarum: A comparative cross ‐sectional study in Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang, Malaysia
DiscussionWe found no convincing association between HG and anxiety disorder, depressive disorder, and marital satisfaction, but women with HG statistically significantly reported more depressive symptoms than women who were not diagnosed with HG. Validation of the Korean version of the Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7 self ‐rating Scale
This study examined the validity and reliability of the Korean version of the Generalized Anxiety Disorder ‐7 (GAD‐7) scale. The GAD‐7 was standardized with data from 112 patients at a psychiatric outpatient clinic. The GAD‐7 revealed high internal consistency, good test‐retest reliability, and convergent validity. The ROC analysis resulted in poor sensitivity and specificity for detecting anxi ety disorders in a psychiatric setting. Changes in prenatal depression and anxiety levels in low risk pregnancy among Iranian women: A prospective study
