Prominent crista terminalis mimicking a right atrial mass: a systematic literature review and meta-analysis
We describe up to date and detailed imaging features for the differential diagnostics of selected intracardiac masses using various imaging techniques, including multimodality cardiac imaging. Familiarity with the anatomy and the imaging findings of the prominent crista terminalis will reduce misdiagnosis and avoid additional tests and unwarranted clinical interventions, while in patients considered for invasive cardiac procedures it might increase their efficacy and safety.PMID:38619912 | DOI:10.1177/02841851241242461 (Source: Acta Radiologica)

Comparison of MRI findings of hypothalamic-optic chiasmatic gliomas and craniopharyngiomas
CONCLUSION: Although some neuroimaging findings may overlap, features such as presence of cyst and calcification, brain stem and optic pathway involvement, different enhancement patterns, and ADC values may be helpful in the differential diagnosis of HOCGs and craniopharyngiomas.PMID:38613353 | DOI:10.1177/02841851241241527 (Source: Acta Radiologica)

Association of body composition and survival in patients with locally advanced breast cancer: a historical cohort study
CONCLUSION: Low visceral-to-subcutaneous ratio and high composite fat were independent prognostic factors for OS and DFS in patients with LABC. However, other body composition parameters showed no effect on survival.PMID:38591936 | DOI:10.1177/02841851241241528 (Source: Acta Radiologica)

Does volumetric measurement of ADC values achieve higher diagnostic performance in bladder cancer MRI?
CONCLUSION: The selected ROI and volumetric measurement methods of mean and minimum ADC in bladder cancer yield different values, still having comparable diagnostic performance with accurate ROI sampling. The minimum ADC value by ROI is preferred in everyday clinical practice.PMID:38591942 | DOI:10.1177/02841851241241055 (Source: Acta Radiologica)

Value of radiomics-based automatic grading of muscle edema in polymyositis/dermatomyositis based on MRI fat-suppressed T2-weighted images
CONCLUSION: The Naive Bayes model, utilizing radiomics features extracted from thigh FS T2W images, accurately assesses the severity of muscle edema in cases of PM/DM.PMID:38591947 | DOI:10.1177/02841851241244507 (Source: Acta Radiologica)
