Midwife to Medicine
Hi all, I'm sure you get many posts like this but here goes anyway! So, I am now a qualified midwife-have been for around 2 years. Have always wanted to study medicine, unfortunately at school didn't have the best grades despite lots of extra work and was told no chance-don't even bother applying. I also do not come from a family who could afford to support me financially through the course and so this was another factor. Because of this my grades were always a struggle. Even though I am intelligent and have a high IQ I couldn't necessarily show that to my teachers, which led to a frustration in school, pushing me away from trying to be Pre Med.
