Hello all, I tried to keep this summary relatively brief. I am a five-year Navy veteran where I served as a Hospital Corpsman. I completed a non-science distance-learning undergrad at a state school and am currently in my last semester (only ten days left) of a two-year structured post-bacc program. Online lab options
Hello!
During the summer semester, the bio class I was taking dropped the lab component because of distance learning making my prerequisite incomplete. Does anyone have any recommendation on where to take a bio lab online? I was looking into a school in MA where they allow you to take medical prerequisites online but I am unsure of the reviews for it... Nontraditionals with school-aged kids, what's this school year going to look like?
I have three kids in school. It's looking highly unlikely there will be normal school, and even the hybrid model they proposed (half in-person, half distance learning) is looking more unlikely as the COVID-19 cases shoot up. Do you think you should still be on clinical rotations?
Simple question. This is in regard to canceling of clinical rotations, NOT in regards to moving to distance learning.
As an attending at first I was of the "whatever, less work for me" mindset.
However, as I've thought about it more, I'm wondering if we are training you to have the appropriate response. "When **** hits the fan, lets do distance learning and graduate you without a full complement of clinical requirements." Don't get me wrong, I understand there is a shortage of PPE...

I am currently at UIC but it is super expensive and I am taking out a lot of loans... Chicago State University is less respected, but a lot cheaper. I know I could easily get in.
