Help with gpa
Hey guys, i wanted some advice here. Im not sure if anyone knows this, but do dental schools look at you GPA as a whole? As in, i had an undergraduate gpa of 2.8 (very low i know) but My masters in biomedical science gpa was a 3.72. So would they take the average of this? Or would they consider the fact that I was able to bring my gpa up during my masters to a 3.72? I am very worried about this because I really do want a chance at Getting into dental school which is why I joined a masters... HELP WITH GPA (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Should I choose graduate entry medicine in Ireland or undergraduate medicine UK ?
I'm in Ireland study biomedical science and at stage one, but I got medicine offer in the UK, should I dropped it out and go to the UK to study medicine? I love medicine, but if I go to the UK I have to pay international student tuition, it is quite high. The second choice is to do post-graduate medicine in Ireland, as an Irish, I can pay as a local student fee, but I need to do MCAT and much relative medical research or experience. can anyone help me to analyze my situation and make a... Ortho residency please help no research
Hi Y'all! So say I hypothetically go to a school with pass/fail and no rankings (UCSF, Harvard, Uconn, Columbia) and I am a 3rd year dental student. I have no research experience but I hold a Masters in Biomedical Science (before coming to dental school). I have some leadership positions and some community service. I think I should have some pretty good letters of rec. I plan on taking the GRE very soon. Do you think I stand any chance of getting into any ortho residencies? I feel hopeless... Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) El Paso- Post Baccalaureate Certificate and M.S. in Biomedical Science 2020-2021
Hi everyone! I just wanted to create this thread because I noticed TTUHSC El Paso does not have one for their post-bacc program. You can post updates on interviews/acceptances/denials here! I felt like this would be a great way to communicate between us who have applied. Admissions told me we should hear back this month for interviews! I know COVID-19 probably set them back a lot since previous years they have already sent out acceptances and interviews by this time. Don't stress we are all...
