Guarding and flow: an observational study

A Step-By-Step Guide To Measuring Sleep
This study provides indirect evidence that the genes predisposing adults to insomnia may also contribute to poor sleep from toddlerhood through adolescence, suggesting the existence of a ‘poor sleeper’ trait that persists throughout a lifetime. Regardless of our genes, we don’t learn as children how to achieve (the best possible) quality sleep nor understand what good sleep specifically means for us as individuals.
