So I got fired today
Hello all,
I'm probably going to apply this cycle with reasonable stats (3.3 cGPA 3.4 sGPA MCAT tbd but likely 505-510).
In February I got my first post-grad job (graduated august '16) as a scribe. The training process took three months, and today I got fired on the last day of training. I have a lot of reason to believe that I got fired due to training issues (wasn't a... nutjob or anything) but who cares.
What the hell do I do now? Am I screwed without employment...

Per the Washington Post, the Trump administration is expected to release their education budget on May 23rd. Of interest to graduate students:
1. Rolling the 5 current income driven repayment options (IBR, PAYE, REPAYE, New IBR, & ICR) into 1 program.
-Proposed new IDR for graduate students is 12.5% of discretionary income with a 30 year repayment term.

AFIP equivalent places
For those who remember, when the AFIP used to be in existence, one of the free available services it offered to practicing pathologists was to do visiting rotations in various subspecialty services with the AFIP's world renowned experts. I heard that this was a great opportunity to see a vast number of interesting cases and equivalent to doing a mini-fellowship of sorts.
Unfortunately, there's no AFIP anymore which is a shame. Blame, gov't cutbacks under the Obama administration, but...
