We are excited to announce the release of a new funding opportunity aimed at strengthening the NIH Proof of Concept Network, an academic innovation ecosystem converting scientific discoveries into biomedical products at over 79 research institutions across 19 states. Ensuring a strong and diverse workforce is a top priority for NIH. To this end, we regularly assess the sex/gender, race, and ethnicity of NIH-supported researchers to better understand the composition of our workforce and participation in our programs.
