Outcomes of scleral lenses for dry eye disease in chronic ocular graft-versus-host disease

Ocular graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) is a common complication of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, seen in approximately 40% of patients [1]. Dry eye symptoms in ocular GVHD can be debilitating [2,3]. Despite initial measures such as frequent preservative-free lubrication, autologous serum drops, punctal occlusion, and topical steroids, symptoms can be refractory [4].
