A 16-Year-Old-Girl With Asthma, Palpable Purpura, and Hypereosinophilia

There was no history of fever, vomiting, oral ulcers, or mucosal bleeds. In the past, she had received a diagnosis of asthma. She had been taking oral montelukast every day for the past year and using a formoterol-budesonide dry powder inhaler irregularly, only during episodes of acute exacerbations.
