'Unnecessary': Calcium pills linked to a ‘significantly’ higher risk of death warns study

CALCIUM supplements have come under scrutiny in recent years for their alleged health risks, but the jury is still out on whether these outweigh their benefits. The findings of a new study, however, have reinforced accumulating evidence that the pills may increase the risk of death from all causes in older adults.
