Po-697-02 impact of left atrial appendage stump on arrhythmogenicity and stroke risk after atri-clip in patients with persistent atrial fibrillation

Surgical left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) with an atrial clip (Atricure) is frequently performed for stroke prophylaxis in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF). Scant data exist for arrhythmogenicity and thromboembolic risk with the residual LAA stump.
