Letter to the Editor - Osteopathic manipulative techniques for management of Huntington's disease

Huntington's disease is a neurodegenerative disease that affects 2.7 out of 100,000 individuals worldwide [1,2]. It is characterized by cognitive and neuropsychiatric impairment, chorea, and motor dysfunction, specifically parkinsonism. In the early stages of the disease, most individuals maintain functionality and are able to partake in activities of daily living (ADL) without assistance. As the disease progresses to the middle stage, individuals experience diminished ability to solve problems, increased difficulty with motor movements, increased chorea, and swallowing dysfunction.
