Authors ’ reply to: Comment on the article by Dr. Georgios P. Skandalakis: Patient-specific virtual and mixed reality for immersive, experiential anatomy education and for surgical planning in temporal bone surgery

We would like to thank Skandalakis et al. for reading and providing valuable opinions with regards to our study. The articles referenced by the author showed various advantages of three-dimensional (3D) printed models, with emphasis on the cost, pre-operative surgical planning and usefulness as an educational tool.
