Topic use of Annona crassiflora Mart. contributes to wound healing due to the antioxidant and proliferative effects of fibroblasts

Some plants species have secondary compounds with healing properties, many of which were used to start the development of new drugs for the pharmaceutical industry [1]. The family,Annonaceae, is recognized for its healing activity, with studies conducted on Annona reticulata, Annona muricata, and Annona squamosa [2 –4]. One of the species in this family is the A. crassiflora Mart. Plant parts such as bark, leaves, fruits, and seeds are widely used in folk medicine to treat inflammation and pain associated with rheumatism, wounds, venereal diseases, snakebites, and microbial infections [5,6].
