Preoperative high-resolution esophageal manometry and postoperative symptoms in patients undergoing bariatric surgery: a retrospective cohort study

CONCLUSIONS: Preoperative HRM abnormalities were associated with postoperative symptoms in patients undergoing bariatric surgery. HRM can identify patients who are more likely to experience postoperative esophageal symptoms and may aid in discussion of suitability for surgery and selection of bariatric intervention.PMID:34756565 | DOI:10.1016/j.soard.2021.10.003
