Indian Health Service Substance Abuse and Suicide Prevention Program: Substance Use Prevention, Treatment, and Aftercare

Funding for tribes, tribal organizations, and urban Indian organizations to reduce the prevalence of substance abuse and decrease the overall use of addicting and illicit substances among American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) populations. Projects should include care coordination, culturally responsive behavioral healthcare services, and early intervention strategies for AI/AN youth at risk for substance abuse behavior.
