REview of potentially inappropriate MEDIcation prescribing in Seniors (REMEDIeS): French implicit and explicit criteria
ConclusionThe REMEDI[e]S tool (REview of potentially inappropriate MEDIcation pr[e]scribing in Seniors) is an original mixed tool, adapted to French medical practices, aimed at preventing PIP both at the individual level in clinical practice and the population level in large-scale studies. Therefore, its use could contribute to an improvement in healthcare professionals ’ prescribing practices and safer care in older adults.

Hello! It's been awhile since I've been on here. I'm actually wrapping up a study abroad semester in Denmark, and I've had the absolute time of my life. It's been life changing and has definitely helped me confirm every reason for why I want to go to medical school. Definitely exactly what I needed after the pandemic! I'll be taking a gap year before med school and will apply my senior year. Anyways, now that I'm slowly coming back to reality and preparing for next semester, I'm feeling a... Read more

I want to pursue a career as a global wildlife veterinarian. Ross university seems like my best option for acceptance but I cant find any info about opportunities they have for working with wildlife. Can anyone give me some information about conservation medicine/nontraditional DVM at Ross?
I haven't started medical school yet but I would love to understand this better and sorry if this is a stupid question. With the DO and MD residencies merging together, how would taking the STEPs as a DO student be beneficial? Wouldn't we be considered for the MD spots without taking the USMLE since the residencies merged? and also, can the core rotations be done at a hospital of our choice, or are they school-dependent?
Hi. Everyone Is there anyone practicing in Hawaii here? I heard Honolulu is saturated but how saturated is it compared to some other major cities such as NYC, D.C, Boston, L.A etc? I've been thinking about moving to Hawaii but I have not been able to gather enough information yet. Is there any major differences in terms of practicing dentistry and managing dental offices in Hawaii compared to practicing in mainland??
Anyone heard from UCSF/SFSU? I know they’ve recently geared towards holistic admissions, so I’m hoping for the best of luck!
Congratulations to those accepted to Salus. Thought we could start a class thread here!
Hello Everyone, We have an official YouTube page for SDN, if you didn't know already. Besides providing help with the pre-med applications, we also conduct an AMA session with experts from various fields (Podiatry included). Please see the link below for the page. If you are a DPM and interested in doing these AMAs, please send me a PM. It will significantly benefit future generations. Thanks! https://www.youtube.com/c/studentdoctornetwork/videos
