Drexel awarded $14M NIH grant to recruit diverse faculty for health disparities research
The National Institutes of Health has awarded Drexel University $14.4 million to recruit and mentor diverse faculty doing research on health disparities.
The five-year grant was made to Drexel's Dornsife School of Public Health and College of Nursing and Health Professions.
The money will be used to hire, retain and support diverse, early-career researchers who are focusing on health disparities research related to aging, chronic disease and/or en vironmental determinants.
