Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy after commencement of dupilumab for atopic dermatitis

A 38-year-old Chinese man was seen in an allergy clinic for poorly controlled atopic dermatitis (AD) since his childhood. This initially began as flexural eczema that became more widespread and severe with lichenification in his 30s. He has a background history of well-controlled allergic rhinitis. Management consisted of allergen minimization strategies, regular emollients, and regular topical corticosteroids. He had trialed escalating doses of azathioprine which resulted in cytopenias and minimal improvement in his eczema.
