Updates on the Management of Pancreatic Cancer
Management of pancreatic cancer has evolved rapidly over the past decade. The use of multimodality therapy has produced superior patient outcomes and has fueled the acceptance of neoadjuvant therapy as the standard approach to operable pancreatic cancer at most high-volume centers. The complexities of delivering neoadjuvant therapy requires the commitment of a multidisciplinary team. The focus of this issue is to highlight the importance of a multidisciplinary approach, and to that end, the issue is organized to provide a comprehensive overview of the management of pancreatic cancer from diagnosis to staging and treatment.
