Here we report a comprehensive profile of nuclear dynamics during heat stress in two rice cultivars, Nipponbare (Nip; Japonica) and 93-11 (Indica) by integrating Hi-C, RNA-seq and ATAC-seq. We show that heat stress disrupts different levels of chromosome organization, ranging from A/B compartment changes to increase in the size of topologically associating domains (TADs).
