Effectiveness of intervention program on the change of glycaemic control in diabetes with depression patients: A meta-analysis of randomized controlled studies
Diabetes is an endocrine disorder with high prevalence in every region of the world. Depression is common to both type 1 and 2 diabetes [1]. Studies reported that the prevalence of type 2 diabetes comorbid depression is about twice much than the general population [2]. According to cross-sectional studies, there was 24% –30% for depression in type 2 diabetes [3].
