Sparse-view CT reconstruction based on multi-level wavelet convolution neural network

Many researchers in the physical and engineering domains have attempted to solve the trade-off between image quality and radiation dose for X-ray or computed tomography (CT) imaging, both of which are widely used in clinical, industrial, and other applications [1 –4]. The widespread application of CT a clinical setting has directed attention toward the associated X-ray radiation dose, which may pose a lifetime risk of cancer [4]. Accordingly, researchers in this domain have aimed to achieve a radiation-dose-reduction technology in line with the principle o f “as low as reasonably achievable” [5].
