Preoperative Endoscopic Biliary Stenting Before Pancreaticoduodenectomy: Does Timing Matter?
Conclusions. PBS increases postoperative wound infections when compared with upfront surgery. Patients operated between 4 and 6 weeks after stenting have the highest rate of wound infection.
