Immune Profiling to Understand COVID-19 Pathogenesis

Dr. Wherry ’ s research focuses on T cell exhaustion in chronic infections and cancer and on the mechanisms by which immunoregulatory “ checkpoint ” pathways, such as PD-1, control T cell exhaustion.
