Re: Anatomical Location of the primary tumour and its relationship to regional lymph node metastasis in cutaneous head and neck melanoma: Is selective neck dissection appropriate?

We read with interest the article by Dale et al and it provides a valuable addition to the literature.1 The evidence regarding optimal neck dissection for regional control of head and neck cutaneous malignant melanoma is limited, and precise management of the neck has frequently been omitted from the major sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) trials, even when queried for subsequent study design by us.
