Pemphigus vulgaris with oral and systemic involvment: a case report of multidisciplinary management

Pemphigus vulgaris is a bullous autoimmune disease resulting from loss of adhesion between epithelial cells by deposition of autoantibodies. In case of oral and systemic involvement that affects the quality of life, it is essential that there is interaction of a diversified working group for diagnosis and management. A 42-year-old male presented with bullous extensive lesions in the mouth and body that have progressed to painful squamous ulcers. Under clinical suspicion of erythema multiforme or pemphigus vulgaris, the incisional biopsy of skin was realized.
