Genome-Wide Screens Reveal that Resveratrol Induces Replicative Stress in Human Cells

Unbiased CRISPR genetic screens in human cells treated with the natural product resveratrol pinpointed DNA replication stress induction as a major anti-proliferative effect of resveratrol. This finding may have implications for the potential mechanisms of action of resveratrol in model organisms.
