Identified a new regulatory mechanism of response to metabolic stress

(Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute) The Chromatin Biology group, led by Dr. Alex Vaquero has identified a new enzymatic activity in SIRT7, involved in stress response, aging and hematopoiesis, which plays a key role in metabolic stress and aging.
