A New Apocarotenoid of Cinnamomum burmannii

A new apocarotenoid, burmannic acid (1), was isolated from the roots ofCinnamomum burmannii (Nees& T. Nees) Blume (Lauraceae). The structure of the new apocarotenoid was elucidated by chemical and physical evidence.
