Morin et al1 write a systematic review of pre-malignant and invasive germ cell tumors (GCTs) in patients with differences in sexual differentiation (DSD), reviewing 386 manuscripts over a 67-year period. They found that GCTs were more common when surgery was performed in children aged 15 years of age and older, with survival being worse when GCT was found rather than when gonadoblastoma or germ cell neoplasia in situ was present.
