General anesthesia or conscious sedation in paroxysmal atrial fibrillation catheter ablation.

CONCLUSION: Conscious sedation is not inferior to general anesthesia in regard to arrhythmia recurrence or complication rates of catheter ablation of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation.
