Enhanced expression and activity of Nox2 and Nox4 in the macula densa in Ang II-induced hypertensive mice.

In conclusion, we found that subpressor dose of Ang II enhances O2(-) generation in the MD and the sources of this O2(-) are primarily the Nox2 and Nox4.
