59: A case series of surgical reconstruction in patients with female genital mutilation/cutting utilizing 3D ultrasound

Female genital mutilation/cutting (FGM/C) is a procedure that involves the partial or total removal of external genitalia or injury to the female genital organs for non-medical reasons. Surgical management of FGM/C has the potential to reduce local pain and restore sexual pleasure, however, information is limited regarding its efficacy and safety as well as the potential role of 3D ultrasound in pre-operative planning.
