CONCLUSION: In decision-making between segmentectomy and lobectomy, adequate margins are required for the selection of segmentectomy, the most common of which is LUL trisegmentectomy. Technical challenges can be overcome with adequate training and simulation. Additional research could focus on the identification of factors associated with recurrence. This study aimed to explore whether CD44 inhibition improves the sensitivity of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) wild‑type NSCLC cells to cisplatin and how it affects wild‑type EGFR in NSCLC cells.
