CAD/CAM Implant Abutments: Peri-implant Hard and Soft Tissue Response with Up to 4 Years of Follow-up- A Retrospective Cohort Study Evaluation. A total of 123 patients restored with titanium, gold-hue titanium, and zirconia CAD/CAM abutments were included (N = 291). Each patient was followed up for at least 2 years. Clinical and radiographic parameters were assessed annually and complications were recorded. No implant or reconstruction failures were reported. One fracture of a zirconia abutment occurred. The prosthetic survival rate after 4 years of function for restorations and abutments was 100% and 99.66%, respectively. No significant differences in biologic and radiographic indices were found. The bleeding on probing index was positive at 42% of implant sites, and it had no significant correlation with the overall change in marginal bone level (0.02 mm) of bone gain. CONCLUSION: Implants placed in the esthetic zone with GBR or complete native bone coverage showed successful esthetic outcomes and satisfied patients with predictable clinical and radiographic parameters after more than 1 year of loading. Within the limits of this study, GBR for a small buccal bone defect seems to be a reliable technique with good esthetics and patient-reported outcomes. We report a case of generalized chronic periodontitis requiring periodontal treatment including regenerative therapy. The patient was a 57-year-old who man presented with the chief complaint of gingival swelling and mobile teeth in the right maxillary molar region. Conclusions: The immediate replacement of a single maxillary tooth by implants combined with guided bone regeneration is a predictable treatment modality with favorable peri-implant bony response.
Conclusion: Within the limits of this retrospective study, it can be concluded that postmenopausal osteoporosis/osteopenia does not affect MBL and long-term implant success. Conclusion EUS-guided coil embolization in combination with hemostatic AGS is a novel method for management of bleeding GV with high clinical and technical success rates, low risk for complications and favorable safety profile when compared to cyanoacrylate. This technique theoretically minimizes embolic complications and need for re-intervention. Further studies are required to compare this modality.
