Altered gut microbiota by azithromycin attenuates airway inflammation in allergic asthma

Allergic inflammation in the asthmatic airway may change gut microbiota; azithromycin treatment could alter gut microbiota (especially increased proportion of Clostridiales), reducing airway inflammation.
