In this episode schizophrenic Rachel Star Withers and cohost Gabe Howard discuss differences in age, symptoms, treatments, lifestyle, parenthood in the genders as they experience schizophrenia. Abstract Physicians often overlook exercise as a treatment or prophylactic measure for many common diseases and ailments. It can be used to treat comorbidities including obesity, cardiovascular disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, cancer, and low back pain. Education on the general physical activity guidelines as well as easy exercise prescription methods can improve the ability of physicians to prescribe exercise as a therapeutic option. Prior to bariatric surgery, endocrine causes of obesity must be excluded. The diagnosis of osteoporosis in a male requires the study of secondary causes of this condition. The diagnostic delay of Cushing's syndrome may have irreversible consequences. AbstractPrior to bariatric surgery, endocrine causes of obesity must be excluded. In conclusion, this study suggests that epigenetic age acceleration is significantly associated with lung function in women older than 50 years. We hypothesised that this could be due to menopause. However, we have observed that menopause has minimal effect and therefore there is possibility of other unknown physiological factors at older age in females mediating the epigenetic age acceleration effect on lung function. While, it is still unknown what exactly epigenetic aging from DNA methylation measures, this study suggests it can be utilised as one of the important factors to assess women's lung health in old age. DNA me...

As primary care physicians, advance practice providers, or other members of the health care team, we recommend physical activity to most if not all patients we see. On a population basis, and most importantly, regular physical activity prevents the development of coronary artery disease and reduces symptoms in patients with established cardiovascular disease. Furthermore, evidence supports the role of exercise in reducing the risk of several other chronic diseases, including type 2 diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis, obesity, and cancer of the breast and colon.

Conclusion: Less-Invasive Stabilization System (LISS) plate provides satisfactory results in periprosthetic fractures after Total knee arthroplasty (TKA). The LISS plate has many advantages, but failures continue to occur. The causes for failure were early weight bearing, obesity, osteoporosis, and lateral collateral ligament (LCL) injury due to incorrect plate placement in our series. We recommend that protection or properly delay of weight-bearing, active anti-osteoporosis treatment, and intraoperative fluoroscopy are the effective methods to avoid failure.
