The potential use of hemostatic spray powder TC-325 in pediatric patients with GI bleeding

We read with great interest the original article “Hemostatic spray powder TC-325 for GI bleeding in a nationwide study: survival and predictors of failure via competing risks analysis” by Rodríguez et al.1 In this retrospective study, patients were treated with TC-325, an inorganic hemostatic powder (Hemospray). The authors concluded the s afety and effectivity of TC-325 for intraprocedural hemostasis regardless of the cause or site of bleeding and its use as rescue therapy.
