What’s the best way to treat over-relaxed hair?

Jonathon needs help…Hi my name’s Jonathan and I have relaxed hair. The problem is now that I over processed it. It is now dry and really really stiff. (I can change my hairstyle in seconds like I would have a wax in the hair.) My question: I know I need Moisture that it weighed down that it doesn’t have volume anymore. Could you recommend me a really good deep moisturizing conditioner? The Beauty Brains respond: Jonathan, without examining your hair it’s difficult to say exactly what’s going on. Over relaxing can certainly cause  hair to become dry, coarse, and fragile but we’re not sure what’s causing that stiff, waxy feeling you described. Nonetheless, we checked with two of the chemists who developed the “Motions” line of products and they recommended the following: Motions C.P.R. Water(Agua), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Cyclomethicone, Polyquaternium-37, Isostearoyl Hydrolyzed Collagen, Dimethicone, Dimethicone PEG-8 Lanolate, Dimethicone PEG-8 Isostearate, Quaternium-80, Phytantriol, DMDM Hydantoin, Fragrance(Parfum), Yellow 5, Yellow 6. Avlon’s KeraCare Intensive Restorative Masque Water, cetearyl alcohol, hydrogenated vegetable oil, cetyl esters, behentrimonium chloride, glycerin, trideceth-12, glycine soja (soybean) oil, lauryl PEG/PPG-18/18 methicone, poloxomer 407, amodimethicone, hydrolyzed vegetable protein PG propyl silanetrial, camellia sinensis leaf extract, propylene glycol, pyrus malus ...
