Wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with pinching along the spine for children allergic rhinitis: A randomized controlled trial

In the western medication group, loratadine was prescribed for oral administration. In the combined treatment group, on the base of the medication as the western medication group, the wrist-ankle acupuncture was adopted in combination with pinching along the spine. Before and after treatment, the symptoms and physical signs were scored and the clinical effect was observed in the children of the two groups.ResultsAfter the treatment and in the follow-up, the scores of the symptoms and physical signs in the combined treatment group were lower than those of the western medication group, indicating a statistical significance (all P
