Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound Toshiba Residents Program Image Soundly SRU 2013 Annual Meeting October 18-20, 2013 Chicago, Illinois The SRU Toshiba Residents Program is funded by a grant from Toshiba America. The grant allows the SRU to waive the $350 registration fee and provide a travel stipend of $650 for up to 15 residents or fellows (trainees) with an interest in pursuing a career in ultrasound to attend the SRU annual meeting. The criteria for the program are as follows: Trainees from institutions in the United States and Canada are eligible to apply. The winner of the 2013 Member-in-Training award is not eligible for the program. A maximum of 15 trainees will be accepted for the program, one per institution, unless fewer than 15 institutions submit a candidate. Preference will be given to those institutions that did not send residents to the 2012 Toshiba Residents program. Two residents per institution may be nominated. If one resident is selected, the institution may elect to send two residents for a reduced total travel stipend of $300 and waiver of both registration fees. Applicants must be nominated by an SRU member (Active, Charter or Fellow), who should submit an e-mail message to sroberts@acr.org indicating the trainee’s interest in pursuing a career in ultrasound.
