American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting Registration Scholarship Program The International Affairs Committee of the American Academy of Dermatology offers attendance scholarships to international dermatologists to encourage their participation at the Academy's Annual Meeting. Dermatologists from all countries (with the exception of  the United States and Canada) are eligible to apply, with the limit of two applicants per country. The scholarships include complimentary registration for the meeting and admission to one post-graduate ticketed session, and an invitation to a dinner with AAD leadership. Since 2006, the International Affairs Committee has awarded more than 450 scholarships to dermatologists from 75 countries. Eligibility criteria: ■ Be a dermatologist. ■ Submit an application. ■ Applicants must be nominated by their national dermatological society.  ■ Officers are required to submit an online recommendation form for each applicant (up to two per country). ■ Previous scholarship recipients are not eligible. Deadline for 2014 Annual Meeting: September 1, 2013.
